Post-harvest handling
Packing, washing and transport
- Packing: curved and semi-curved fingers below; long curved and long straight fingers on top.
- Washing: with alum and latex control, 1.0 cc per litre of water depending on the number of boxes.
- Transport: trucked from farms to the packhouse, then shipped in temperature-controlled containers.

Full-sun monoculture on deep, loamy-sandy soils of high natural fertility. Fertilisation based on physical-chemical soil analysis, supplementary irrigation from August to December, and threshold-based phytosanitary control that prioritises cultural, organic and biological practices against black sigatoka and root pests.
